Overview
The Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia is a certificate issued by the Department of Skills Development (JPK) of the Ministry of Human Resources for hair dressing skills programmes. The programme is suitable for students who have a deep interest in the field of hairdressing and want to make it a career after graduation. It is specially designed by certified SKM trainers and hairdressing industry experts to nurture students with solid hair service knowledge and skills. The curriculum meets the market demands of the hairdressing industry by incorporating subjects such as hair care consultation and styling services, hair shampooing, hair and scalp treatment, hair saloon maintenance and hair saloon product retailing with entrepreneurial skills.
